About Me

Hi, I'm Matt. I've been writing terrible code since 2005, but somehow, it's led me to a career I genuinely love.

Today, I'm the CTO and co-founder of a company tackling one of the internet's messiest problems: bots. Not the helpful kind, but the swarmy, fraudulent, scale-breaking kind. I spend most of my time thinking about how to detect, disrupt, and defuse automation in places it doesn't belong—without making life harder for real users.

Before that, I worked across startups and large companies alike, mostly building secure, scalable systems and learning the hard way that simplicity almost always wins.

This blog is where I share notes from the field: things I've built, things I'm thinking about, and the occasional tech rabbit hole I've fallen into. It’s part dev diary, part digital shed.

Thanks for dropping by.
